Did you know that when you make a booking on a booking platform or with a travel agent up to 25% of the total cost goes to the booking company and not to the owner of the establishment?  That’s a huge chunk of revenue.  For us it’s our largest cost.  They also make the rules. As a result when disasters happen (like COVID) they can be somewhat inflexible.  If you book direct we can pass some of that saving on to you!  You’re also first in line for early check in.  We can also be far more flexible when life happens and plans change.

Ever wondered why the booking platforms don’t give you a hosts email or phone number till AFTER you book?  It’s so you can’t book direct.  Booking direct helps ensure that big, global companies don’t have such a stranglehold on the industry and keep much more of the billions spent on hospitality local.  If you decide we’re not for you and find your perfect holiday on one of the booking platforms take a cheeky search on google and see if you can book them direct!
